Currently, there are a number of liposuction procedures that are popular among liposuction patients such as laser liposuction, vaser liposuction and the recently introduced slim lipo. In the pricing guide below, you will prices for the different procedures as well as for the different cities and states. I will try to include the surgeon who charges that prices. However, that information is not always available so not all the prices you see below will have the surgeon’s contact.

Cost of chin liposuction in Miami Florida
This is the cheapest I have seen. The operation cost only USD800 with the patients having positive reviews after the operation. Unfortuantely, the name of the surgeon was not revealed. If you like to know about this surgeon, I suggest you contact the patient directly. Here is the url for the review:

http://www.realself.com/review/Liposuction-neck-lipo

Cost of chin laser lipo in Merrillville, IN
This patient receive treatment for both chin and underarm liposuction, that comes to an average cost of USD4,500. The name of this surgeon is called Dr Demetrios Katsaros, in the city of Merrillville. According to the review “e took great care in explaining procedure and options to me. Spent over an hour with me during initial consultation and was very caring and knowledgeable.”

Cost of chin lipo in Atlanta, Georgia
This particular operation cost around USD7,500 and is one of the more expensive option I have seen. For this treatment, the patient want to remove the fatty areas under the neck. However, there was remaining fat deposits after the operation, which makes the patient undecided about whether liposuction is effective.

The good thing is this review contains the before and after pictures of chin lipo. If you are looking for such photos, you can check out this url:

http://www.realself.com/review/atlanta-liposuction-loose-skin-chin-after-lipo

Through these prices, you can see that the cost of chin liposuction differs city by city. The larger cities tend to be more expensive and if you want a cheap liposuction, the best way is to look at prices across the different cities, rather than the average.

Double chin liposuction helps you to remove the stubborn fats that are deposited under your chin over time. These fats typically cannot be removed via regular exercising and needs to be removed via a surgical approach. However, many people fear about its effectiveness or wanted to see how the post operation result would look like. Below is a before and after picture I have gotten from a patient who have undergo double chin liposuction.

The before and after images showed clearly the effects of doing a chin fats removal. It makes your face sharper and gives you a more vibrant look overall.

Double chin lipo can be done using a variety of methods but laser liposuction is one of the better choices. This is because of the precise nature of the laser, this procedure can zoom in to the targeted area that other liposuction techniques such as vaser lipo or tumescent liposuction cannot be effectively used.

What is the cost of double chin liposuction

In general, the average price for double chin liposuction is around USD2,500 to USD3,500. The actual price will have to depend on a number of factors including the state or city where the procedure is carried out, the experience and qualifications of the surgeon, the cost of the facility as well as the cost of anesthetic. If you want to know what determines liposuction pricing, I suggest you read my previous post called how much does double chin liposuction cost.

In terms of recovery, facial liposuction in general has a faster recovery rate due to the smaller areas being operated on. For other types of liposuction, the recovery period typically ranges from 2 weeks to four weeks. For facial liposuction such as double chin, the patient can go back to her daily activities after one week of resting. It is important though that during this recovery period, the patient do not engage physical activities to prevent damages from being inflicted on the double chin area.

We have taken real prices reported by patients and have aggregarated their data for your convenience. As I said many times before, liposuction pricing is not a standardised item. Prices for this procedure fluntauttes between states and cities as well as between the area where liposuction is going to be held. You will find liposuction prices for neck, chin, legs, flanks, calves etc will be cheaper than prices for larger areas such as such back, buttock, stomach etc. In this post, we will take specific look at the cost of double chin liposuction and see how much they cost between different cities.

Cheapest double chin liposuction

The cheapest double chin lipo was from Miami, Florida. The surgeon charges only USD800 for a liposuction to the neck and chin area. The patient was satisfied with the result. She was 42 years old and had to wear the compression garment but the after effects look good. Unfortunately, she did not provide details about this surgeon. You can find the double chin review here

http://www.realself.com/review/Liposuction-neck-lipo

Prices for double chin liposuction

Here are the rest of the data that I have fond for this type of procedure. Most of the entries contain names to the surgeon.

Dr Demetrios Katsaros from Merrillville, Indiana. In case you are not aware, Merrillville is a town in Ross Township, Lake County, Indiana. The patient was very satisfied with the chin laser liposuction Dr Katsaros, who have provided great advice during the initial consultation period. There was little bruising on the chin area, with no liposuction scars or any of the other horrible stories that you heard above. Prices wise, it was in the range of USD4,500. If you want to see the before and after photos of double chin liposuction, you can follow this URL below:

http://www.realself.com/review/indiana-liposuction-laser-lipo-chin-tumescent-lipo-axillary-underarm-area3-days-post-op

Dr Edward O. Terino, MD Simi Valley Plastic Surgeon from Westlake, California. His clinic is located at 327 S Moorpark Road, Thousand Oaks, CA. Dr Terion charges a more expensive fees. For a procedure that involves sonic lipo on hips, back, stomach and knees plus chin, the cost is around USD12,000. The patient picked Dr Edware because of his long experiences, the fact that he used a MD for anstesia, and he had no mal-practice suits filed against him.

The procedure chosen by the patient was called UAL sonic wave lipo suction. It used sound waves to loosen and melts the fats before they are being removed using hollow cannulas. This procedure ensures there are less damages to your body as the fats are easier to extract. The patient was happy with the outcome. The only downside was the long recovery which took up to two months.

Chin liposuction is one of the trickiest and yet increasing sought after facial cosmetic surgery. This layer of fat around your chin can greatly affect the way you look and that is why people wants to get rid of it desperately. While traditional chin liposuction has been around, a new technique called laser lipo (chin liposuction with laser) has been used recently that has certain benefits over this traditional method. In this article, we will take a look at chin liposuction vs laser liposuction and also what are the benefits and risk of using the latter procedure.

Let’s first understand what is chin liposuction. It can be considered a minor surgical procedure where surgeons will insert small incisions of 2 to 4 cm long in the chin and under the ears. You might heard of some cases where the doctors do it through the mouth but that is only left to really skillful surgeons. Patients undergoing chin liposuction usually are put under local anesthesia to lesson any potential discomfort during the procedure.

Once the insertions are made, the surgeons will lift the underlying tissues and insert in a thin liposuction cannula that uses high frequency oscillation to dissolve the fat. A tiny vacuum device will then be deployed to suck the fats out. If there is any additional fats the patient wants to be removed from the cheeks, the surgeon will insert additional small incisions. This entire chin liposuction procedure will takes on average about 45 minutes to an hour to perform.

Laser liposuction is done is quite similar fashion, with the exception of the technologies used to melt the fat. In the case of laser lipo, high heat from the laser is deployed to melt the fats down. This procedure is supposedly less damaging to the tissues and hence will aid in the recovery time of the patient.

One of the biggest benefit of chin liposuction done with laser is that the slimming effect are permanent. After the operation, patients will have a slimmer face and is very unlikely to require such a procedure again. Maintenance wise, no additional efforts are needed. The effects will stay and tend to last.

The downside of chin laser liposuction is the recovery time. Compared to operations done on other parts of the body such stomach laser lipo or back laser lipo, patients need a period of time for the face to recover from the swelling. During this period, the face of the patient is often red and sore and needs about three weeks for a complete recovery. Pain killers are often prescribed to lessen the discomfort of the patients.

In terms of risks, the chin laser lipo has an almost 100% success rate. However, deaths still occur. The average death rate is in fact about 1 in 5000. Hence, there is little minimal risk in the operation, despite the advances of technology. Hence, I strongly that you only think of laser lipo if you have exhausted all other options from dietary restrictions to exercising. These are far cheaper and more healtier way to lose way. However, if there are parts of your face that retains the fat no matter what you do, then you can consider using laser lipo, bearing in mind the risk that was discussed earlier.

If you have decided on going ahead with chin liposuction with laser, then you might be concern with the cost or prices of the operation as well. In general, laser lipo prices are determined by the following:

The experience and capabilities of your surgeon. In general, surgeon will more experience will tend to cost more than one that has less. The advantage of using a more experienced surgeon is of course it siginficaintly reduces the risks of failure during the procedure.

The amount fats that you required to be removed. For chin lipo, the amount is significantly lower than stomach or back lipo so you can expect the prices to be much cheaper than if you were to use these other operations.

Beyond the actual cost of the operation, you will also need to consider the after operation costs, of which hospitalization and after care will be a major part of to play. If you stay rather far away from the hospital, you will need to incur more expenses since you will not be able to travel long distances immediately after operation.

I hope you have benefited from this article on chin liposuction with laser.

Chin liposuction is a relatively new technique in laser lipo for getting rid of the fat deposit that often accumulate under the chin due to the intake of high calorie foods, genetic components, or a sedimentary lifestyle. It is a simple surgical procedure which can tighten this area and make us look better and feel good about ourselves.

Chip liposuction techniques
The latest microcannular chin liposuction technique is good for patients as they suffer fewer side effects. Chip liposuction uses tiny skin incisions compared to the very long incisions earlier used in traditional facelift surgery. The cannula can be as small as 2mm in diameter, and is not much longer than the lead of a #2 pencil. Such a small inclusion is not possible with previous techniques. In this procedure, no general anaesthesia is required for chin liposuction as a local anesthetic will suffice. This means patients are awake and comfortable throughout the procedure.

Chip liposuction recovery time
This laser technique can dramatically reduce tissue trauma and bleeding can be decreased by as much as 90%. Swelling and bruising are also minimal to moderate and rapidly subside after liposuction chin surgery. This is why patients can have faster recovery time. In fact, most patients can normally return to work sooner, usually within the next 2-3 days, due to a quicker recovery rate.

Chip liposuction costs
The average costs for chip liposuction is $2,500 and above. The components within the costs usually comprise of the surgeon’s professional fees, the anesthetic and anesthesiologist’s fees as well as the clinical facility lease. The first 2 type costs depends very much from doctor to doctor. The third however depends on the clinic’s the clinic’s locale and the costs of living in that area with regards to the operational costs of the facility itself.

Chip liposuction risks and complications
The risks involved with laser liposuction are extremely limited but, as with all surgical procedures, a death rate of one in five thousand still exists. Hemotoma, asymmetry, lumpiness as well as numbness are all possible as well. It should be noted that women who are pregnant and nursing should never go through with this procedure, and it is crucial that all potential patients bear in mind the fact that this is actual medical surgery.

Choosing the right surgeon
As chin liposuction is dealing with the most visual part of our appearance, our face, the slightest makeover is noticeable. Hence, picking the a reputable surgeon is important. Before the surgery, it is recommended that the patient consult a doctor. The doctor and the patient should contemplate varrious scenarios during the consultation. For example, individuals wanting a stronger profile may consider combining chin liposuction with a chin implant. All questions and concerns regarding the surgery should be addressed during the initial visit; it is the doctor’s advice that will determine if chin liposuction is in your best interest.

Laser Assisted Liposuction is one of the new techniques for liposuction. It has been popularised in Europe, China, and Japan but only recently in America. Compared to traditional liposuction, laser lipo has its pros and cons. This article is to give a balanced view so as to assist the reader in making informed choices about laser assisted liposuction.

Benefits of laser assisted liposuction

One obvious benefit of laser liposuction is the increased rate of recovery. Patents using this technique can cut to one to two days of recovery time and decreases blood loss during the procedure. In fact, some test results have shown that after surgery, patients can leave immediately or after a couple of hours. For some, they can even return to normal activity with only small discomfort. In some of the cases the subject was requested to wear a compression garment for a week.

More importantly, laser assisted liposuction also reduces the post-operative pain. In order words, you suffer less when the operation is done through laser, rather than through traditional matters. The reason is because laser assisted liposuction only targets the “yellow material”, or fat, in the body, allowing the body to absorb up to 500 mL on its own without any suction.

Finally, laser assisted liposuction can have the positive effect of tightening the skin. This means the patient need not go for other operations that are designed to ‘tuck away’ the excessive skins. Less operations mean less money and less pain.

Disadvantages of laser assisted liposuction

Laser liposuction is not really suited for large surface areas. Too large an area would mean a more intense laser with longer duration, which could result in the skins being burnt. This means people with large layers of fats need not apply. For this group of people, having a healthy diet and regular exercise is a better way to go. For laser assisted liposuction, it is more suited for the following:

chin liposuction

neck liposuction

facial liposuction

tumescent liposuction

The other disadvantage of laser assisted liposuction is its costs. This is the result of new technologies and new processes. New equipment have to bought and training has to be conducted for these new procedures. All these will drive the initial costs high. However, I expect the cost to come down over time and this disadvantage might not be relevant in a couple of years. a result of the “minimally invasive” cannula (Hui 2008).

Conclusions

We should recognise that laser liposuction is not a magic cure for obesity. In fact, I recommend that healthy people consider this procedure to remove fats in difficult areas. Do bear in mind that surgery always possesses certain health risks, even though the risk factors may be low. Hence, to repeat, only if you have a well balanced diet and exercise regiment but has a couple trouble spots that won’t disappear, then the ideal solution would be laser assisted liposuction.
